Features & Compatibility

Discover our latest innovation: the Psilocybe Cubensis Jack Frost Liquid Culture Syringe — a refined hybrid culture representing the well-known Jack Frost variety. This strain is the result of crossing True Albino Teacher and Albino Penis Envy genetics, admired for its distinctive appearance and stable characteristics.

Designed for collectors and research purposes, this liquid culture syringe is prepared in a sterile, nutrient-rich solution to support healthy mycelial development under controlled laboratory conditions. Its carefully isolated genetics help ensure consistency and reliability.

The Jack Frost variety is known for its unique albino-like visual traits and strong lineage stability. This hybrid combines the robust structure of True Albino Teacher with the distinctive characteristics associated with Albino Penis Envy genetics.

Experience the precision and quality of the Jack Frost Liquid Culture Syringe — a professional-grade option for those interested in advanced fungal research and collection.

Genetic purity:

Our liquid culture syringe is made with utmost care and encapsulates the genetic purity of the Jack Frost strain. Each syringe is a testament to precision and consistency, allowing growers to experience the full spectrum of the strain’s enchanting properties, from its frosty appearance to its profound psychedelic potential.

What substrate do we grow on?

Several substrate options can be considered for Jack Frost mushrooms, but a common and effective choice is a mixture of vermiculite and brown rice flour. This substrate offers a good balance of nutrients, moisture retention and airiness, which is beneficial for mushroom growth. Vermiculite helps retain moisture and provides good drainage, while brown rice flour is a nutrient source for the mushrooms. The substrate mixture can be prepared by mixing equal parts vermiculite and brown rice flour, then moistening it until it reaches the right humidity level. After the substrate is prepared, the mushroom spores can be inoculated to start growth.

Use

Inoculating your substrate has never been easier. With a simple injection of the Jack Frost Mushroom Liquid Culture, you can watch the mycelial network multiply and transform your growing medium into a canvas on which the mushrooms can flourish.

  1. Sterilisation: Sterilise the substrate mixture to kill off any harmful bacteria and fungi that may hinder mushroom growth. This can be done by heating the substrate mixture in an autoclave or pasteurising it using steam.
  2. Substrate inoculation: Start by preparing the substrate, such as vermiculite and brown rice flour, as described earlier. Make sure the substrate is moist but not soggy. Next, take a spore supplement or a spore syringe containing Jack Frost paddospores.
  3. Inoculation process: shake the spore syringe with the mushroom spores well to ensure that the spores are evenly distributed. Then use a sterile syringe to distribute the spores evenly across the substrate. This can be done by applying small amounts of the spores at different spots on the substrate.
  4. Incubation: After the substrate has been inoculated with the paddospores, it is time to incubate the substrate. Place the substrate in a dark and warm room with a constant temperature between 20-25°C. This promotes colonisation of the substrate by the paddospores.
  5. Growth and harvest: After a few weeks, the mushroom spores should begin to colonise and develop into mushrooms. Keep checking the substrate for humidity and any signs of contamination. Once the mushrooms are fully developed, they can be harvested for consumption.
