Fit4Seasons 5-HTP contains 40 capsules of 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), a naturally occurring compound derived from the plant Griffonia simplicifolia. 5-HTP plays a role in the body as a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation. Serotonin is also converted into melatonin, which contributes to the regulation of the sleep cycle.
