Real Mad Honey Nepal is a rare, high altitude honey produced by bees that collect nectar from specific rhododendron species such as Rhododendron ponticum and Rhododendron luteum. This unique botanical origin gives the honey its distinctive character and natural composition.

Effects

“Mad Honey” gets its name from the fact that it makes you a bit “mad” or moldy due to the grayanotoxins it contains, also called rhodotoxins. Traditionally, mad honey is used as an aphrodisiac, for lowering high blood pressure and for digestive problems. The grayanotoxins act on sodium ion channels and muscarinic receptors, similar to the poisonous fly agaric. At normal doses, the effects may be:

Use

Start with small amounts to gauge your sensitivity to the poison. Half or whole teaspoon of mad honey is a common dosage. For a more recreational experience, you can take two teaspoons.
