True Albino Teacher Mushroom Grow Kit

The True Albino Teacher Mushroom Grow Kit is an albino variant of the Golden Teacher, one of the most popular strains of Psilocybe cubensis. The “true” part of the name emphasizes that this variety is completely pigmentless rather than simply white. Although it differs visually from the classic Golden Teacher, it still retains certain family characteristics.

According to legend, this albino variety originated as a spontaneous mutation in a batch of Golden Teachers and was later stabilized by a mycologist. It should not be confused with Albino Penis Envy (APE), which has a distinctly different shape.

This kit is suitable for both beginners and experienced growers. The substrate is fully colonized and pre-inoculated, meaning no complicated preparation steps are required.

Effects of True Albino Teacher

The potency of True Albino Teacher ranges from slightly above average to strong. It is often described as comparable to Golden Teacher, but typically more powerful.

At moderate doses, visual effects may include enhanced color perception and subtle movement in surfaces or patterns. At higher doses, visual and psychological effects can become significantly more intense. Experiences may also include introspection, feelings of connection, and spiritual or mystical sensations. Effects vary depending on the individual, dosage, and environment.

Complete Growing Instructions

1. Preparation
Ensure your workspace is clean to prevent contamination. Wash and disinfect your hands before handling the kit. Always use clean tap water or mineral water. Do not use distilled or demineralized water.

2. Setting Up the Bag
Remove the bag from the box and unroll it. Open the bag by removing the airtight clip at the top. Gently stretch the bag to allow fresh air inside, then close it again with the clip.

To reduce the risk of side pins forming along the edges of the substrate, place an elastic band around the outside of the bag approximately 1.5 cm below the top of the substrate level.

3. Growing Phase
Place the kit in a location with a stable temperature between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius (68–77°F). Avoid direct sunlight and strong temperature fluctuations.

Once mushroom growth begins, monitor the bag daily. For the first two flushes, no additional water is required. Keep the bag closed except when briefly allowing fresh air inside.

4. Harvesting
Harvest when the caps begin to open. Not all varieties form veils or visibly drop spores.

Before harvesting, disinfect your hands with alcohol and preferably wear gloves. Gently twist the mushrooms clockwise to remove them. Harvesting when the caps start to open helps maintain optimal potency.

The first harvest is usually ready within two to four weeks, depending on environmental conditions.

5. After the Second Flush
After harvesting the second flush, add a small amount of water inside the bag, approximately one third up to the level of the substrate.

Close the bag securely with the clip so it is airtight. Briefly remove and reattach the clip to introduce fresh air. If excess water has not been absorbed within twelve hours, carefully pour it off.

6. Subsequent Flushes
You can expect at least two harvests per kit. Under optimal conditions, three or even four flushes may be possible. After each harvest, repeat the watering step as described to stimulate further growth.

Storage Instructions

If you choose to start later, the kit can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks at a temperature between 2°C and 8°C. Keep the grow bag inside its original box and ensure your refrigerator is clean and free from mold.

For additional protection, you may place the kit inside a clean plastic bag or grow bag during storage.
