Our growkits are beginner-friendly. Simply follow the included instructions: add water, maintain humidity and warmth, and wait 1–2 weeks for the mushrooms to appear. No special tools or prior knowledge needed.

White fuzz is normal and healthy (mycelium). However, green, black, pink, or orange mold indicates contamination. If you see any of these colors, do not consume the mushrooms.

For fresh truffles:

They’re closely related. Truffles (sclerotia) grow underground and are legal in the Netherlands. Mushrooms grow above ground and are prohibited. Both contain psilocybin and offer similar psychedelic effects.

Yes. Fresh truffles last several weeks in the fridge. Growkits should be started within a few weeks after purchase. Never consume truffles or mushrooms that smell bad, show discoloration, or appear moldy.
